Limestone, China Clay, Bentonite, and Hydrated Lime can all be used as binder and filler in fertilizer and pesticide industry. They are used to adjust the pH of soils to give optimum growing conditions and hence improve crop yields. Bentonite is used for soil improvement, and also absorbs the harmful elements in the soil. China clay is used for polymer synthesis. Diatomaceous earth powder has the capacity to hold fertilizers and then release them to the roots.
